Hi, does anyone have experience getting to Centrair airport from Tokyo? How long does it take? Does it take long to change at Nagoya train station to get onto the airport train? I have to do this Friday night so it may be busy.
Thanks

I just took some friends back to Centrair yesterday. I suggest going by bullet train to Nagoya which takes 90 minutes I believe. Then you will switch to a line that takes you right there to Centrair in 40 minutes. The transfer between trains at Nagoya takes about 10 minutes, you have to haul your luggage through the many people walking through Nagoya Station.

thanks a lot, I saw the website. I had been wondering what it would be like to make the change at Nagoya eki at 7pm on a Friday night. I'll be ready to start hauling my luggage through the crowds.

In fact I was there on a Friday Night at 7pm a few weeks back and it was packed. Watch out for the police at Nagoya Station, they have been doing random "gaijin" checks so may take up 10 minutes of your time to write down a bunch of nonsense.
