"Out there?"

Do you mean outside?

Typhoon number 5 is about to hit Kyushu, then veer northward.
Where in "the land of the rising sun" are you headed? It's not that small a set of islands.

For the money, I would not change any... withdrawn with your Cirrus/Maestro ATM card (you get better rate, more easy). There are atm in Narita which accept foreign card (Inside japan go to post office ATM or Citibank).
Weather in Tokyo is not perfect- quite cloudy, some rain, hot (29 deg at midnight...) and humid. But well, that depend where you come from (why do people put in the profile that they are from TTworld? ashamed of your country? knowing where people are from would help to give better answer...)

#1- I stand to be corrected, but common sense will tell you anyway, though the trouble with it ,is.. sometimes its not common to all.

#2- Entering Tokyo leaving Fukuoka

#3- Ohh, sorry , were from Thailand ,so basically where used to heat and humidity.DO u know what is the maximum amount per transaction? I asked this because my bank charged a certain amount per foreign atm transaction.

Try www.weather.com or www.wunderground. com for weather information.

Maximum amount per ATM transaction is usually set by your bank.

Reportedly some time soon the ATMs at 7-11s will allow international transactions. For the moment only those at the PO and some citibank machines do. This can be VERY inconvenient on the weekend so be prepared.

Are you sure with this one?I beleive it's country to country basis.Like in Singapore, my atm limit per transaction is 1000 singapore dollar (80,000yen).I tried to withdraw in other country like Philippines, the max amount is just 10,000 pesos (300 singapore dollar) per transaction. So I need to have 3 transaction or 4, just to withdraw the 1000 singapore dollar, in the end, i was charged 4 times by my bank.

In any case, it will be good, if the atm in Japan can dispense 80,000 yen in one transaction, i can save for my bank charge.

I got more than 80,000 yen in one transaction at Narita and with citibank ATM. That should not be a problem. Japan loves cash...

The banks at Narita Airport post their rates here :
