Good day, ladies and gentlemen.
I'm currently planning a trip to Japan and I'm on a quite tight budget. Usually when I travel, I bring along small gifts and people seem to enjoy them so it occured to me that I could possibly bring handicrafts and various items over with me and perhaps sell them to put a dent in my expenses. I've come across travelers doing so before, but I've never done it myself and I have a few inquiries.
Firstly, how legal would that be? And is there a more law-friendly venue where I can set up such as a flea market or something of the sort? Any information on the subject would be much appreciated.
Secondly, Egypt is rife with handicrafts, so what items do you think would appeal more to the Japanese population? (the answer to this would also be helpful to me when picking up my customary hostess gifts)
I would also love to hear from anyone with a similar experience.
