My husband and I are leaving in 2 wks to visit our daughter in Yangzhou. We fly into PVG and are finding conflicting info on whether or not there is a direct bus from PVG to Yangzhou. She tells us "I don't know how you and Dad will make it by yourselves in China" Hah! Makes us laugh, but on the other hand ... Anyone have any suggestions for us?

1) is it worth taking the LP with me? or is there a chance of it getting confiscated?? we are doing a tour, so will that be enough in terms of being able to find the best markets etc?

We’ll be traveling around China for 15-20 days in September and then leaving the country to see a few other places. We’ll reenter China from Vietnam for another two weeks in December so we’ll be in the country for a total of 30-40 days. I know that we’ll need multiple entry visas (we’re planning on visiting Hong Kong as well) but I’m not sure how long the visa will be valid.
