Hello, I'm planning a trip to Yunnan for about 18 days in May. I'm overwhelmed looking at my options. I definitely want to trek Tiger Leaping Gorge because it might not be with us much longer, but I can't decide what else I should do. Any suggestions? Currently I'm thinking of going to Kunming, Dali and Lijiang. Sometimes I tend to be overly ambitious when traveling! Are there certain things I should do or see to truly enjoy Yunnan? Any advice would be great, as I'm up for anything.

We are currently in Beijing and looking to travel to Kashgar. We are considering going through Xi'an, Lanzhou, Dunhuang and then through Turpan to Kashgar. This is a pretty long trip and I was wondering which parts could be done through flying and which are most scenic and best to be seen on a train? We are on a pretty tight budget and so would not want to fly if too expensive.

Has anyone done a TEFL/TESOL course which offered a guaranteed job? I'm especially curious about anyone who's done this and worked in China as a result. What kind of teaching job? What was it like? Are there any courses offering guaranteed jobs only in China?

Can someone help me with planning a short trekking holiday in the Yubeng and Minyong area above Dequin? Is it a full days trek with a guide and horse from Xidang hot springs to Upper Yubeng?
