Beijing is the northern Capital
Nanjing is/was the Southern Capital
What is now Tokyo was the eastern Capital

What was the western Capital?????

Beijing and Nanjing are misplaced because Kyoto is THE capital city, no directionals.

And Tokyo was renamed as Tokyo which means the eastern capital. It still is, not was, the eastern capital.
