Hey, I am thinking about moving from Shenzhen to Qingdao , i am Canadian on a multi entry visa for China for 60 day max. Looking for money saving exit / entry from Qingdao .....visa run Will flying from Qingdao to South Korea be a problem for a 1 day stay at airport in S Korea ...quick entry exit
Any tricks and tips you can share would be so great. thank you
There are also ferries from Qingdao to South Korea, which might prove cheaper (you spend the night on board). You might want to have a look and compare.
I don't think you should have a problem, as long as you leave China, but have no personal experience with turnarounds that fast.
I think it would probably prove to be expensive (and exhausting) to try to fly to ICN or PUS just for the day to fly back.
It isnt so bad if you stay in SK a few days. There are also flights to Japan.
The Ferry would take ~40 hours. I think it is around $250 round trip but you will need food during that time.

I'm not sure exactly where you can fly to from Qingdao airport but, if rpbourne is right with his estimate of ferry prices to South Korea, it will be considerably cheaper to fly.
I think, in theory, you have to enter somewhere else before you turn around and come back to China, if you've been in Shenzhen for any length of time you'll have just been doing visa runs to Hong Kong every 2 months and Qingdao is going to be considerably more difficult and expensive than that, but I did once have an American colleague that, somehow, never entered Hong Kong doing a Luohu visa run.
The ferry is probably going to be expensive, except the price doesnt change for weekend and can be bought last minute. If you are on a 60 day clock, you can probably plan ahead.
From Qingdao your best bet might not be SK/Japan. It might actually end up being cheaper flying to Shenzhen and crossing into HK(and maybe seeing friends?)
Also there is the land border with Mongolia, but that is rough even from Beijing. Last resort.
