Has anyone any info or feedback on the north china shooting range on the outskirts of beijing as we are looking to visit on our holiday.
Thanks

its on the road from PingGuoYuan to Badachu, a little difficult to see the turn off.
You shoot off heaps of rounds from an AK-47. They let you keep the shell casings as a souvenir, if you want.
Be sure to hold the butt very firmly against your shoulder or you will have multiple bruises.
;-)

harry, you went?
i read about it in TBJ.
what is the cost? and do they have a gun with a silencer?

can't remember the costs, just that I didn't feel that it was not expensive. This was 2001. The owners of the restaurant I spent every day in took me along for the day. No silencers that I recall. set on automatic that gun has a hell of a kick. got a vertical bruise on my shoulder to prove it. 8-)

oops
I meant I felt that it was cheap.
I remember the fun I had at Customs in Cairns when i tried to bring a casing back home as a souvenir. wasn't allowed to have it on the plane. They wanted to throw it in the bin, but I got insistent and had them bag it. It got lost on the way to Sydney, and I forgot about it, but 3 weeks later it showed up in my letterbox courtesy of Qantas staff. apparently the bag got mixed up with the crew bags.
Customs Cairns are rude buggers.
