...and usually packed out because it's so small.

Chilli club just next door and up the stairs is also OK, and also there is a great Thai fusion restaurant at the top of the Langham plaza in Mong Kok called Simply Thai. Get some good views over Kowloon from way up there.

Chili Club in Wanchai? That place is good. I totally forgot about that, because I got dumped by a really cute girl there once.

Chilli Club has been around for years and years. Forget the cute girl and enjoy the food there.

Hi there,

I was searching through the fourm for some good eats in HK and been trying to locate the Banana Leaf restaurant. Anyone has an address of it?

The LP book I had (an old edition) listed it on 440 Jaffe Road, Causeway Bay but it's no longer there. I've searched the website - but it's all in chinese!

Many thanks in advance.

Indonesian 1968 in Observatory Road has closed. The branch in Leighton Road, Causeway Bay is still open. BBs Bistro (French) is going to reopen in its lower floor while the upper floor looks like it will be a bar.

Coconut Forest Vietnamese in Hau Fook street provides cheap and reliable food - rice or noodle set with drink from around HK$40.
