We want to go to China with our 3 kids,12-17 years old.

We have been there several times but now we want to drive trough the country for two or three weeks. We don't have a chinese drivinglicence and looking for a driver with car (or van because we are with 5 + driver is 6) who speaks English AND is reliable.

Anyone?

China is a huge country, where in China? And traveling between cities, driving is not efficient and slow. Better get on trains and hire a different driver in each city.

Agree with jpdem, you need to specify where in China. A driver is not going to cross 3000km to meet you, drive you around for a few days and then drive back 3000km to his home for free.

If you are moving around much, the train will get your from A-B much faster, more comfortably, and probably even cheaper than driving. Hire a driver for the day when you arrive.

Also you aren't going to find some random driver on this forum looking for work. You will need to go through a travel agent(and their requisite fee) to arrange transportation like this.

Agree with the above 2. You hire a driver, you'll have to pay for car, gas, drive time, hotel, meals. I also think that hiring drivers at each location may be more efficient.

I'm the guy you are looking for, reliable English-speaking local driver with license, a good guide familiar with this country, supposed your buget is for this kind of travelling method.
I'm not showing an AD. here, but offering a solution to people who are confused how to travel as they wish in China.
I have my own job in a hospital, and like to communicate with people from abroad, I'd have several days/weeks off my job to meet your days. all you have to do is to prepare to rent a van at your starting city(chain car rental can give it back in different cities, I have a private car not van), make up for my job loss and my relevant personal expenses based on actual situations, no other expenditure absolutely, and of cause if you are satisfied with my service and tip me a little I'll not refuse it. ^_^
