For four people travelling together, which is the easiest and most economical way to travel into kowloon from the airport? Still the airport bus? Or will a taxi between us be as cheap?

Thanks.

Taxi

Take this Airport Express. It is quick and easy. It goes to Central, and you can take a shuttle or taxi to your hotel.

Ah. Now I followed another link from yours. For the four of us, the airport express would be $360 - plus shuttle. A taxi is $320 to the door. So the latter sounds the better option. or have I missed something?

for 4 people dividing costs, take the taxi. the taxi will drop you at the door.

The bus is HK$33 per person so it is still much cheaper. It also takes you straight down Nathan Rd, stopping outside all of the main places, taking around an hour. From the top deck you also get a great view.

Where are you headed? Buses work great if your destination is on the route. (I personally am a huge airport express fan - but as the number of people in the party increases, it's convienence decreases).

4 people with big suitcases will not fit into one taxi. I believe that you pay extra for anything that doesn't fit in the passenger compartment. I love the express train because it is quick and comfortable. I have never taken the bus but it sounds great as long as the weather and traffic are good. I'm the kind of traveler that's willing to pay extra for comfort and convenience.

Sarah, we have always taken the A21 bus. It's really frequent. It's a great view! And there is lots of room for luggage. The drivers are nice and helpful.
If you take a taxi, you have to also pay for each piece of luggage too.

What hotel have you ended up at?
