I'm going to Hong Kong in a weeks time but I want to visit the mainland. I can wait 3 days in HK. Which is best, to get visa in London or Hong Kong. I will travel on a British passport. My problem is I need my passport to go to France for the week before.

We got Chinese visa in 1 day in HK.
We got also got a Chinese in London in 1 day

you pay for the express service though.

In London especially - queue early!
