Thanks everbrite, paying for next day because I didnt think it would be done in time (by the 8th) on the normal service. We are travelling to London on the 8th because our flight is on the 9th, thought it would make more sense to pick it up ourselves than ask out friend to do it as she would need to take time off work. Would use a visa service but they are a bit of a rip-off when a friend could do it for the price of the visa.

A way that seems to have been overlooked of getting in and out of Mainland China is by catamaran from Hong Kong and Macau. Turbojet runs services from Macau to Shekou (the name they give to Shenzhen Port) for HK$171 one way. You can book the crossings on www.turbojetbooking.com up to 29 days in advance. This may help people get their visas. I think there are other catamaran companies too. This isn't the only one.

Hi I will go to Guangzhou in a month and I Thinking in going one day to HK. The problem is that China embassy in Spain ask me the train ticket and the hotel reservation to give an 2 entry visa. Does anyone knows any web to get this reservations. I will cancell this reservation when I get the two entry visa.
Tahnks a lot

In Beijing L visas can be converted to 3-month F visas and F visas can be extended for another 3 or 6 months from yesterday (Sep. 1, 2008) on.
The applicants need to stay in Beijing and get Beijing registration form of temporary residence.
Beware that poster 1675 isn't lurking here to provide helpful information but to advertise his own visa service.

In HCMC
