Some time back agencies in Hong Kong stopped offering the much-loved 1 year multi-entry F visa, making the longest option the piddling six-monther. There's currently a report here that Shoestring Travel reckon they can now offer the 1 year visa, although details are sparse.

Anyone got any recent info? Or even a recent 1 year visa? Or did this happen ages ago and i missed it?

As far as I know it happened sometime last year.

However, I just got a one-year vise through one of the agencies here in Shanghai. They can do it, no problem, as long as you have recently been out of China. If not, then you'll have to settle with six months.

That agencies in Hong Kong stopped offering 1-year visas. I was referring to your question:

Apologies if my question wasn't clear. I know the 1 year visas stopped some time ago. I'm asking if anyone has heard anything about them being available again NOW.
