Is the Delhi Metro running now? I am looking at two hotels in the Karol Bagh area. They both advertise being near the Metro stations. Are the Karol Bagh nd Rajendra Place Metro Stations open and running to Cannaught Place?
When I check the Delhi Metro website, I can’t make heads or tails of the information about what is open and what is planned. Any info from Delhi would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere to go for a scrumptious treat in Delhi?

I was thinking of afternoon tea in a smart hotel? Or, a really nice cafe maybe?

We are wanting to go from Islamabd to Kashgar in May and was wandering if anyone had any thought on the best way to get between these two? A combination of flying and overland would be ideal, as we would like to try and do it in 2 weeks or less to then spend some time is CA.
Has anyone done this or similar trip with a organised guide, or is it easy enough to do on your own?
Any hints on routes and places to highlights would be much appreciated. Thanks

iv booked a 2 night tour at sunderbans tiger reserve, thing is i went to another tiger park and didnt c much, is this worht it and is it safe please let me now iv uv been. also will it b cold as ill b sleepng in a tent thanksss guys . (i havnt paid yet )

I will be doing the Delhi, Agra, Jaipur tour in two weeks. When I was in Delhi about 5 years ago, I took a great day tour to all the sights in New Delhi by bus. It was nice because it stopped at so many places and just for a few minutes each place (there were so many places). Also, they really were firm and kept the tour running on time. Anyway, now I search for 'New Delhi day tour' and all I find is private car tours for like $100 a day!! Does anyone know if the New Delhi bus tour still exists…

Hello all, I've got two questions:

firstly, is anyone here at the moment and wants to start the annapurna circuit in the next few days? I flew in yesterday and would love to get started soon, but I'm travelling on my own and hope to find someone to trek with to share costs and experiences with.

Please does anyone know if it is possible to get from Jaipur to Shimla or McCleod Ganj/Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh without going back through Delhi or, more importantly, having to stay overnight in the capital ?

We are happy to pay for a driver - if one would be prepared to make the interstate journey, or take a series of cabs, or travel by trains (hubby isn't too keen on taking a bus) - but we are trying to avoid the time and cost of another overnight stay in Delhi.
