i am travelling from mumbai to goa on 17th march by car along with my wife and child. I can accommodate one cpl (without child) or a female in my car either for one way journey or return journey. I will be starting on 17th march 4am..reaching goa same day in eve and will start return journey on 21 march early morning from goa. Any one willing to join let me know.

I am travelling out to Nepal/Kathmandu by myself on Monday and have not organised a trip as yet.
My plan was to sign up to something, hopefully with other people, once I get out there.
I just wanted to double check how easy this is to do in reality?

Also I have a sleeping bag which goes to -5 C plus a fleece liner. I was also going to buy a down body warmer in addition to my fleeces and base layers. Is this enough to keep my warm - I hear it gets pretty cold!

Do most guesthouses / hostels (low to medium price range) have bug nets over the beds in India?
Am thinking about bringing my own...but obviously would love to save that space for other things if it's not imperative i bring one.

Also - would anyone suggest i bring a light sleeping bag to use on top of the beds? Not crazy about sleeping on bed bugs...but if most places seem to have clean-ish sheets, then i'm ok.

i always travel as light as possible. the last time i did a long one i managed nearly a year out of a 30 litre day pack...but that was in s.e. asia so i didnt need much. this trip is going to involve a lot of cold places and hiking so that already ups the load. i really don't want to carry a dead weight in toiletries on top of the other gear.

I'm just filling in my India visa form to send off to London and one of the questions asks for 2 contacts in UK and in India. Does this mean UK OR India? Do I need to know someone in India? Same with my Vietnamese Visa. Could anyone please let me know if I need 2 contacts in India (and Vietnam)

I'm interested in doing the Snowman Trek in Bhutan this summer. The only month I have available would be June... is this a good month to go, is it usually possible to get through all the mountain passes in June?

Second question - can anyone recommend a tour operator for this trek?
