Hi there ive been visiting nepal a fair few years now and the weather has always been good in the trekking season, however, on my last visit in early April I experienced sustained stormy weather ( thunder lightening hailstorm and torrential rain ) at low level ( Kat and pok) and consequently had to rearrange trekking destinations 3 times.
I was just wondering if that was a freak weather occurrence or in fact the current trend is unpredictable and unsettled the whole year round

Hi,
I’m heading to Sri Lanka on an organised trip for 2 weeks on 27th October and cannot wait.
After my 2 week tour I had originally planned to head to Arugam Bay, get some sun and relax on the beach for that entire extra week at the end (circa 9th November) but people have been saying the weather could be really terrible.
I don’t mind short showers but if there is a chance it will rain all day I might just hop on a flight to Kerala for that week.

Flying in less than a fortnight to Mumbai. We have been wrangling over the itinerary and whether to fly down and work back up to kochi from Varkala. The latest plan is now to perhaps forego the southern beaches as we will be in Goa anyway and instead head for the hills. Total time is 3 week so I'd appreciate your advice on if this is the right choice and if the timings seem ok. Alleppy is the most important thing to me.

It was on the news here in the UK that the Sri Lankan Government had suspended the e.visa fee to encourage tourism after the bombings earlier this year. Does anyone know if this is actually correct as the visa application webpage does not mention it.

Me and husband flying from Europe to Delhi for a 1 week stay in Nov. We have traveled a lot but this is first time for India! Would like to find a nice place not too far away from Delhi but away from the busy city.
