So as everyone is probably aware, all flights to Lukla this season are now leaving from Ramecchap instead of Kathmandu. I'm traveling to Ramecchap the day before my flight in order to secure an early morning trip. However I'm unable to find any guesthouses in Ramecchap online. Please tell me there is actually lodging in the city, and does anyone know how to go about making a reservation? Thanks

I have been dreaming up a route that follows established roads through Nepal. It starts in Kathmandu and ends in Bhimdatta at the Nepal/India border then continues into India From Banbasa to Leh. The proposed route goes through the foothills, avoiding the lowlands and the higher mountain ranges. We are 2 ladies of the more mature variety 65+. Our plan is to travel from Mumbai to Kochi using the following route.
Mumbia , Vijapura, Badami, Hampi, Mysore, Wayanand, Kochi. We appriciate this is ambitious as we will start on 17th Oct and fly out of Delhi on 30th October. Does anyone have any advice regarding this route. We will travel by bus/train as appropriate.
