Hi, it seems that the PAP (Protected Area Permit) is only issued to domestic tourist.

If I take a shared jeep in Gangtok, do you know how close I will get to the Nathula Pass?
I wrote somewhere that foreigners are allowed to be driven till the lake (name was not mentioned, but iIwonder if it is Sarathang lake or Tsongo lake).

My acquaintances from Europe are planning for their first travel to India In January 2020.
They have 10 days in their hand for enjoying and sight seeing.
They would land in Delhi, Agra is in the list.
They want to see and enjoy view of Himalayas.
I had Kedarnath, Badrinath, Mana, in my mind. But I guess it cannot be done in January.

Husband and I will be in India for 6 weeks in Sept/Oct. I've created a rough itinerary and booked our long distance train journeys and we have 2 spare days (that is accounting for delays as well, so we may have a few more days!) and can't decide whether we should spent them in Udaipur or Amritsar. Udaipur can be reached easily for us by train instead of going straight from Jaisalmer to Jaipur and Amritsar would need to be a flight in and out of Delhi (although prices are within…
