My friend who lives most of the year in Goa has recently suffered a massive brain haemorrhage and is on life support at the Apollo Victor hospital in Margao.His Father(in his 70s) wants to travel from Scotland to be with him,and has asked me for any help I can offer re travel to India.
Most things have been worked out,but I'm struggling to find a comfortable hotel nearby(Apollo Victor is next to railway station and Skybus) to book for his first night in Margao.As he really can't stand excessive heat, AC is a must,but otherwise it wouldn't need to be anything classy.
The nearer to the hospital the better as he's gonna have enough on his plate without having to haggle for rickshaws etc every day...
All suggestions gratefully received
