Ok... i have come seeking advice. I a a well seasoned traveler (29 countires) but have yet to visit India. I have a multitude of questions. I have been reading the FAQ's and lots of posts but would love more infomation.. Here are my questions?
1. here is my thoughts on travel for 7 weeks... Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Udaipur, Jodupur,Jalsaimer, Amritsar, Dharmsala, McLeod Ganj, Shimla...If I have time try to squeeze Varnasi in there as well. do you feel this is too much/too little to see in 7 weeks? I would be doing no air travel.
2. Where are some nice off the beaten path small towns to stay in Rajasthan/Punjab/Himechal Pradesh?
3. It is necessary to me taking Malaria meds while doing this trip?
4. Would love to do some cooking classes while in route...any on this route you would reccomend?
5. from what I read Leh will be unaccessable by land in mid april is this correct?
6. What are peoples thoughts on Gujarat? would a week or so in this province be rewarding?
