Travel colombo to Arugam bay

I am travelling to Arugam bay from colombo on October 4, what is the best and quickest mode of transportation not interested in flying.
I am traveling by myself with a backpack and surfboard.

there are three options to travel from Colombo to Arugam bay.
1. Public transport - low cost but delay but difficult to take surfboat.

1. Private taxi - costly but Quickly.

2. Flying... No comment . HIGHLY COST.

Hi, travelling to arugambay using public transport is a tiresome task. In the bus you might face difficulties in taking the surfboard In that case you have to select train. Much comfortable way is to reserve a vehicle for yourself. There are many vehicle rental services now in sri lanka. Casons, budget taxi, blablacarslk, taxishare are much affordable options. Hope you will enjoy the visit.
