Travel advice Agonda to Munnar Kerala

Hi, need to get to Munnar. Currently in Agonda and the journey being suggested to me which is to travel by train then get quite an expensive taxi ride seems not too great. Anyone have any ideas please?

What kind of travel do you want? Fast? Cheap? Hassle-free?

And "expensive" is a relative term. If it was me, your advice is exactly what I would be doing - train to Kochi and taxi to Munnar. A less expensive variation on this will be a bus from Kochi to Munnar.

If you want faster, then you could fly GOI-COK; and then by road to Munnar.

Well you can use train to Kochi, and then from bus stands in Ernakulam (Kochi), there are cheap buses that go to Munnar. That might be the cheapest way. But maybe almost as cheap fly from GOI to COK, and then take the cheap bus to Munnar.
