Recommending guide .

I have seen many members recommending drivers/guide saying that they have obtained licensed which was issued by Ceylon tourist board .

I wish emphasis to all readers, not every licensed holders are allowed to accompany tourist on island wide tours .

NATIONAL tourist guide lecturer
CHAUFFER tourist guide lecturer

Above mentioned license holders only authorized to leading tourist any site within the sri lanka. .they have well trained by the Ceylon tourist board which is only accredited agency issuing guide license sri lanka in order to provide amiable service to the tourist .

Please see the other category of license and their allowed area of operation .

AREA tourist guide lecturer – area of operation is within the province /district of there residents .

SITE tourist guide lecturer – allow to operate only within a classified site.

TOURIST FACILITATOR - people who work in beach based has issued license authorized to guide only within the classified beach.

If any body operate without guide license or out of the classified area is punishable offence under the regulation 03 of the tourist guide lecture code -1986.
