Rafting from Kathmandu to Chitwan OR other means of travel?

Hi fellow explorers!

Myself and 2 friends will be heading to Nepal in late March to do the Everest base camp trek via the Cho La Pass.
After that we will return to Kathmandu and plan on visiting the Chitwan National Park. I already know that there is public transport heading that way but was trying to think of an alternative way of getting there that was alittle more adventurous. We have heard about rafting on the Trishuli River. The plan is to raft there, spend afew days in Sauraha exploring the park then get the bus back to Kathmandu. We will need to take our trekking bags with us which contain everything (max 15kg each).

Can anyone recommend any rafting companies that can do this? Or can anyone recommend any other alternatives for travel along this route?

There is the road and there is the river . There are 100s of rafting companies . In fact every shop in Thamel is a rafting company . I do not recommend this form of travel though . It is not adventurous . It is boring . The local bus is the most interesting way in my opinion .

I suggest you trek first EBC then Cho La...
It is a personal choice. , No problem, you can do a rafting trip on the way to Chitwan National Park Safari... I suppose I can not recommend you agencies because of terms and conditions of the forum...
