Can anybody tell me the best way to get from Colombo airport to Anuradhapura?

We will be arriving in Sri Lanka early in the morning (4.30am) and we are wondering what is the best way to go (train or bus) up to Anuradhapura at that time of day?

There are eight trains daily from Colombo Fort to Anuradhapura.

It's better going by train than bus. because long distance travel..

1. Take the bus to Colombo OR Colombo Fort from Airport terminal. arround 30 mins

1. From Colombo Fort Trailway station 06:17 am Yaal-devi train gose from Fort to Jaffna... long distance train... you have to get-down at Anuradhapura station arround 10:40 am.

Trincomalee-Minneriya-Polonnaruwa-Dambulla
Dambulla-Aluvihara-Matale-Kandy
Kandy-Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya-Adam's peak
Adam's peak-Ella-Arugambay
Arugam bay-Yala-Mirissa
Mirissa-Galle-Colombo

Can somebody help me what the best ways are to go from the one place to the other?
They are ordered by the days we would do them in.

Anuradhapura-Trincomalee - Available Train and Bus.

Trincomalee-Minneriya-Polonnaruwa-Dambulla - Available Train and Bus.

Dambulla-Aluvihara-Matale-Kandy - Available Train and Bus.

Kandy-Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya-Adam's peak - Available Only Bus OR Private Taxi.

Adam's peak-Ella-Arugambay- Available Only Bus OR Private Taxi.

Arugam bay-Yala-Mirissa- Available Only Bus OR Private Taxi.

Mirissa-Galle-Colombo - Available Train and Bus.

Kandy-Nuwara - available train also..

1. A'pura to Trinco - Direct Buses (03 Hrs) is available but no Direct Trains (So Take a Bus)
2. Trinco - Minneriya - Polonnaruwa - Dambulla - Bus (Trinco to Habarana, Habarana to Minneriya, Minneriya - Polonnaruwa, Polonnaruwa to Dambulla). Trains are not frequently available.
3. Dambulla - Kandy (Via Matale) - Direst Buses Available (03 Hrs)
4. Kandy - N Eliya - Direct Buses Available (02.5 Hrs). Trains available during day time (Kandy - Nanuoya) will take about 04 Hrs. Scenery is spectacular. From Nanu oya to N Eliya (06 km), a local bus should be taken.
5. N Eliya to Adam's Peak - Bus (N Eliya to Hatton, Hatton to Dalhousie-Nallatanni). The Adam's Peak season starts on December 13 this year. So, there won't be many buses between Hatton and Dalhousie during off season.
6. Adam's Peak to Ella - Take a return bus to Hatton. Then Hatton to Ella, direct train.
7. Ella to Arugambay - Train (Ella to Badulla) Then Bus (Badulla - Monaragala) Bus (Monaragala - Pottuvil)
8. Arugambay to Yala - Bus (Pottuvil - Buttala) Bus (Buttala - Kataragama) Jeep (Kataragama to Yala)
9. Yala to Mirissa - Jeep (Yala to Kataragama), Bus (Kataragama to Mirissa)
   10 Mirissa - Galle - Colombo - Direct Buses and trains available
