Looking for partners ( Langtang Valley Trek or Lower Dolpo Circuit trek )

Country forums / Indian Subcontinent / Nepal

Hello All,

I arrive in Kathmandu on the 12th April Evening and i have 2 plans to trek

Plan A – Langtang Valley and explore Tilman’s Pass, Laurebina Pass independently without a guide as i will have topo maps, tent and stove for self sufficiency beyond Kyanjin Gompa tea-houses.

Plan B – Head to Nepalganj and make a domestic flight to Juphal airport to start trekking the Lower dolpo circuit after hiring a guide/porter from dolpo itself to cross the 2 high passes enroute…. with GPS waypoints, Tent, Stove and maps there are places to stay in lower dolpo uptil Dho village and after that self sufficiency prevails over Numa and Baga La passes to approach Phoksundo lake.

Looking for people who are reasonably fit and willing ready to explore something away from the commercial path.

I am a 32 year old Indian and i have trekked vastly in the Indian himalayas and also done treks like Kanchejnunga north base camp, Everest 3 passes trek, Annapurna circuit, Poon hill and Rolwaling trek in Nepal earlier.

Looking forward to interact with people who are interested in either 1 of these.

Regards
