Leh Ladakh in SeptCountry forums / Indian Subcontinent / India
I want to travel to Leh and do some trekking. I will be going around Septnber 15th to 24th. Is this too late in the season? Any recommendations?
No, it is fine. But for trekking, it is getting very cold for camping at 4500 meter, and the organized camps are closing down. | 1
Are there still some good treks where you don't have to camp? Which do you recommend? | 2
Yes it is good time to visit Leh in september for trekking. It's summer there. August and September are good time. Mostly all roads are open. There are Less chances of rain. However ladakh is very unpredictable with its weather. | 3
