Lahaul and Spiti- Car Rental

Hello all, I'm planning a relatively last minute trip to go to Lahaul and Spit in early September.
this time I would like to use a rental car for the freedom and to cover more territory. Appreciate the roads may be crazy! But I've been fortunate to drive in many crazy places globally before

Any advice regards Rental companies and which city to look in, guessing Chandigarh and Ludhiana likely?

Hello again I have noticed you can rent from Zoom-car.
A Scorpio SUV is about 4500 per day for a 10 day rental.
With limited kilometres to 200 per day

This seems expensive, any thoughts?
