would anybody know the best way from Jaipur airport to town? I'm arriving on Sunday at 1920 and wonder if taxi is the only option. Is there a pre-paid taxi counter? Any recommendations for budget accomodation? I'm thinking of Arya Niwas. Many thanks.

Heard that Arya Niwas is nice with a great Jain vegatarian restaurant, but we stayed at the Jai Niwas (sister hotel) and enjoyed it very much. I don't know about the taxi situation but there are ususlly rickshaws around most Rajastani cities except Pushkar. Be careful, especially in Jodhpur, and pay AFTER you get to your destination.
