Gemstone hunting in Jaipur and Jodhpur

I am a jeweler from the US who is going to Jaipur and Jodhpur in search of quality gemstones, beads and components. I know that I have to be careful of dyed stones being passed off as real and other scams. Any advise or tips would be greatly appreciated! Also any tips regarding sourcing these materials? Thank you
