Hello, | ||
I budget 3500 NPR per day for myself (total). | 1
HI, Earlier this year I was in the Khumbu and spend between NRP3000 and NRP 3500. For that, I eat what I fancy and drink a lot of tea but no alcohol. Eric | 2
I budgeted $30 per day for my EBC trek in December 2016. This adequately covered accommodation, food, water, tea,coffee and the occasional treat. I'll be returning this December for the 3 Passes trek. Make sure you take local currency. Regards | 3
I did the 3HPs again (for my 3rd time) Dec 2015 - Jan 2016. I was spending about US$30-35 per day - prices in the E region had gone up quite a bit from when I was last there - breakfast in particular has got more expensive. | 4
20 usd a day for bed and 3 meals . Dhal Bhat all the way . No alcohol . But if you want that you can get dirt cheap raxi anyway . | 5
That sounds very low and cannot include much protein/eggs. When were you above Namche last time? | 6
Yes its low . The total including below Lukla when much cheaper and above Namche as an average .So above Namche would probably have about 20 a day . Eggs can be picked up easily on the trail when protein is needed . I also carry dried and canned fish plus I always travel in the off season . So if your a normal trekker in 3 passes in high season I guess you will spend a good bit more . | 7
