And joe5710, I would advise you to try Farmgate hotel instead of Pacific (my point of view!) Farmgate area is better than where Pacific is and the rooms are much better... Farmgate single cost taka 700 with a room with fan and attach bathroom. LR | 3 | |
Hiyas, you can visit the Hill Tracts on your own, but you will need to obtain a permit from the district commissioner in Chittagong before your go, the process to obtain this is outlined in the LP & relatively straight forward. The bus to Rangamati takes about 2-3 hours with 2 checkpoints as you approach Rangamati where you will have to show your permit. | 4 | |

Yep and Bashundara complex is within walking distance where you can change money and have a wide variety of food in the food court on the 6th floor !
