Anyone going to Unawatuna in December? How is it there at christmas and new year? Is it very different from the rest of the year? Is it mostly young people or also families coming at this time?

Since 1997 we visited Sri Lanka almost every year and we will be there at the same time this year as you will be! I guess you will find young people as well as families there. The athmosphere is usually quite relaxed and nice! However this year we will go to SL with a kind of mixed feeling because of the intensifying fighting in the north which also from our point of view, has and will have an impact anywhere else in SL. Don´t think that we will travel as much as usual this year! However......wish you a nice holiday!
