Hi

I have just had a baby and are planning trip to a friends wedding in April when he will be 5 months old. we have done loads of independant travelling to India, Thailand, vietnam but never with a baby. it will be a different type of holiday that we are used to, will be staying in a hotel rather than travelling about staying in huts etc,
was just wandering about injections for the little one, also sterelisers for bottles etc, do hotels provide things like that or is it something i would have to take with me.
any advice will be helpful.
Thanks

All 3 of our kids were breast-fed - so easy and safe!!

However - I'd expect that boiling water (in a pan) would be available everywhere. That's what you need (a specialist steriliser is a western artefact unlikely to be available most places in Sri Lanka). Cargills have supermarkets (and often associated pharmacies) in most largish towns; and they have most Western stuff available at good prices.

If I were you I would wait till my baby was a little older. Up to you though what you do...
