Hi everyone!

I'll be in Sri Lanka from August 18-27, and would love to meet up with some people if you're there during that time. My planned itinerary is:

Aug 18: flight in overnight, then Sigiriya, Dambulla (staying in Polonnaruwa)
Aug 19: Polonnaruwa, Minneriya for The Gathering (staying in Nilaveli)
Aug 20: Trinco/Nilaveli
Aug 21: Trinco/Nilaveli
Aug 22: drive to then explore Kandy (staying in Kandy)
Aug 23: Nuwara Eliya or Ella by train, see a tea plantation? (either staying in N.E. or Ella)
Aug 24: Lipton's Seat and then to Tissamahara (staying in Tissa)
Aug 25: Yala safari, and maybe Galle or Unawatuna (staying in Unawatuna)
Aug 26: planning train from Galle to Colombo (staying in Colombo)
Aug 27: bye!

I would choose Haputale over Ella as a base cos Ella is very touristy. Most visitors doing Liptons Seat base themselves at Haputale
