Hi are prices much higher in December or November. I am able to go from mid November & was wondering when is best. Is the weather more settled?

Hi there
Which part of Sri Lanka are you referring to.Avoid going to the Eastern Coast.Down South is much better.December is the best time of the year compared to November.But the prices will rise as it will be the peak season.

Yes, it's probably better to go there in December. November has more rain in general doesn't matter what city you are staying, so I would suggest definetly. Yes the prices will be a bit higher but it's worth it.

Sri Lanka has 2 different monsoon seasons which effect different parts of the country. During Novemeber/December the best areas to travel in will be the west, southwest and south coasts. December wil of course be high season so prices will be higher

Hi,

December is better weather wise, however prices are better in low seasons, and a rain once in a while is really not that bad. And in November it's already much less anyways.

You will love the nice beaches (we went to the south beaches). Besides the beaches here are the things that you definitely should see:
