Thanks for this, this is a great itinerary. Could someone maybe extend it for me please and suggest how else I could get from Habarana to Haputhale rather than taxi? Really really trying to cut costs as it looks like the only way columbo - Habarana is goign to have to be taxi as we cant book trains in advance..... I have read that Haputhale is a good place to stay to visit World's End or Lipton's seat. Not too concerned with visiting Kandy. Ella sounds nice but not essential.
then how to get from Haputhale or nearby (Ella if needs be) to Mirissa or a coastal town please?
