I'm afraid this is a nonsensical post. If you go to tourist areas you will come upon tourists. If you go to top tourist sites you will come upon many tourists. Generally, Sri Lanka (SL) is a popular tourist destination.

I have travelled often in Thailand and can tell you plenty of places where you will never see a tourist, but for a reason. There is nothing of interest to tourists or it hasn't been developed and there is no tourist infrastructure (roads, transport, hotels, restaurants, etc) .I was there a couple of months ago and spent a few days not seeing any tourists but as soon as I hit a tourist location I saw lots.

If you go to a beach resort, which is designed for tourists, you will see plenty of tourists. Presumably what you want is a tourist site/beach where no tourists go. Don't we all!

I see you have also posted about Burma. I haven't been there for a few years, but as you are only allowed to travel to certain areas and stay in certain hotels then you are bound to find many tourists along what is a tourist pipeline. These restrictions have also pushed up the prices.

This is the high season in much of SL so expect tourists. If you want somewhere away from them look for a small town with no attractions and you will probably be on your own. Also you can check detailed weather and find the wettest and if coastal, the roughest sea, then you may find it fairly empty, but don't bank on it.
