Hi All

We are off to Sri Lanka for six weeks this time in late December and January. Last trip traveled the east coast and up north. This time I am heading over with three girls and another guy. We have rented a house in Hikkaduwa for the time. Does anyone have any tips? Good restaurants, day trips, places to hook up, where to swim with turtles, good driver, good market, good local eats, good place for a beer. Just anything that would make life easier. Would like to hear some first hand experiences. Sorry for such a broad post but any info would be good. Cheers for that.

hikkaduwa is a good place to stay...

there are lots of bars along the beach where you can get a sunset beer... a new restaurant called homegrownrestaurant (www.homegrownrestaurant.com) there serve good and cheap food...

on a day trip you can visit unawatuna, or some or the waterfalls, or the turtle farms...lots of places to see...

enjoy your trip...
