Dont underestimate the power of the sea in Sri Lanka . Hikkaduwa is not a safe place to swim as was stated earlier .Dont become another statistic on the death by drowning chart .

Hikkaduwa Beach, Unawatuna Beach, Nilaveli Beach, Passekudah Bay and Kalkudah Beach , Arugam Bay Beach, Negombo Beach , Bentota and Induruwa , Mirissa , Uppuveli , Tangalle Beach, Bentota Beach are the best beaches in Sri Lanka with white sands, blue water and coconut trees.
