Hi, wondering what sort of adaptor I will need for electrical appliances. I'm guessing UK plugs will not be compatible in Sri Lanka?

The UK uses plug type G and you will also find that in Sri Lanka but the most common in plug type D which is common in the Indian subcontinent, the only real different is that with G the prongs are rectangular while with D they are round.
