Hello,
We will be in Colombo for New Years and want to visit the Duruthu Perahera in Kelaniya,
The calendar shows both January 1 and 2 as being full moon days. Does anyone have information on which day the largest parade will be held?

Hi there
The Duruthu Perahara will be held on 31st of January 2017.I got this information confirmed from a Buddhist High Priest who is in Kelaniya and he told me that the perehara will be held on the said date.
