Credit card surcharges?

Be aware that only the more expensive places will take cards. Most budget places don't have the means of accepting them even if they wanted to. I would never rely on a card for paying in SL. There are however plenty of ATMs.

In some of the cheaper restaurants they even struggle to change a large note.
