Any recommendable guesthouse around colombo with a good home made meal?

Hi there, I noticed you haven't had any reply to your posting. I don't know of any guest house but there are a couple of "local" places to eat on Galle Road, Colombo 3 (Kollupitiya). One great one for breakfast opposite Hotel Juliana (Galle Rd, Col 3) and another couple on Galle Rd heading toward Col 4 from Hotel Juliana. There is another great little one for dinner heading toward Galle Face from Juliana, it is off down a little lane about 50 metres along. Just if you are interested Hotel Juliana is R3,500 a night. I don't know of any good guest houses but LP does have some listed.
