We are arriving at Colombo via cruise ship on Nov 22. We then have 4 nights before a Gadventure Tour that starts in Negombo. Any suggestions as to where to stay in that period that would give us some exposure to local culture, food etc.? We are not looking for a resort style beach experience, but are in 70's, so appreciate some level of comfort. Thank you.

hello I'm Henry from France so I have been there many times in the negombo so you can find what you want the people very friendly. but if you want to get some experience about the local culture you better know someone there anyway if you need any help just let me know.

There is a travel bureau which is located at Queens jetty at Colombo port & they do all travel arrangement for cruise passengers.
