Hi folks.. Looking to find some good accommodation at Trinco for about 3 days in the mid of August. We are a group of 7-10, so probably what could work is an individual house with about 3 bedrooms, although we are open to hotels also. Not looking at the extreme fancy 5 star type ones, but something thats safe, clean and more importantly tried and tested by fellow travellers here.
Airbnb also lists a few, so if anyone has tried those out, would love to hear your experiences as well.

Do you want to stay in Trinco town or by the beach? Most tourists stay out of town in Uppuveli or the other one further north.
I stayed in the Shiva Resort in Uppuveli. It was 2000R a night for a nice slightly old fashioned room. You could book a few of these. There is a large balcony upstairs for sitting around as a group. It has nice gardens leading down to the beach.
You could book a few rooms together on the upper floor.
