Hi all
I am one person trying to get a few people together to do the Biafo-Hispar (Snow Lake) Trek this August. I am interested in adding a few more days to explore the Lukpe La which is north east of Snow Lake (Sim Gang glacier) because the scenery here is mindblowing. The Lukpe La is not too difficult and so no high altitude porters are needed and offers fantastic views of Snow Lake and the Braldu glacier. The plan is then to head to the Hispar La and continue on to Hunza. There could be an…

Any news if Pakistan has reinstated visa on arrival for the Sost/China border this year? I know it has been unavailable for the past 1-2 years. If not, if I were to book a trek with an agency in Pakistan, would they be able to arrange for me to get in (solo, not in a tour group)?
I will be in Islamabad and want to visit Lahore as well.
How long (in time) is the trip? Are reservtions necessary? What is the cost?

Hello All,
I would like to get an Pakistani tourist visa. After downloading the visa form I realized that I have to declare both my religion and my additional nationalities. I am a dual citizen of Israel but live in my country of birth and would apply for the visa on my 1st passport. Does anyone have any advice? Should I declare Israel or not? And if I do, will I still get a visa?
Thank you for your advice

What are chances of taking this road from Gilgit to Shitral on a bike - would you require permits NOC or something like that?
If I am allowed to do this can I then get out of Shitral in the Lahore direction? It sounds like going south from Shitral is possible but not the other way.
How is this road in September anyway?
Thanks
Hello, Ill be trekking to K2 soon and am wondering about footwear. I have mountaineering boots which will be needed during parts of the trek. If youve done the trek did you also bring other lighter footwear along which you wore while trekking? The terrain looks rough, much of it on a glacier so it looks like you may need the mountaineering boots on most days. Are crampons needed on days other than the one you cross the La? I have lightweight shoes for camp. The mountaineering boots I have are…
We travel by car between Taftan snd Lahore. We stay in Quetta now and hotel receptions say we need NOC to travel in Pakistan. Is it true or not? We are wasting to much time in this 'country' dealing with stupid things.
