Updates from the KKH

I believe they stopped issuing VOA at sust last year.

But I am confused, the attack happened near Babusar top, so it was not on the KKH ?
Was it travelling via Mussafarabad, coming through AJK ?
What was a Rawalpindi-Gilgit bus doing in the Naran valley ?

Well,some time the buses from Rawalpindi to Gilgit vice verse go via Naran/Kaghan valley so this bus was one of those.It was actually coming from Rawalpindi not from Muzafarabad AJK.

The KKH is still closed for traffic and the C1,30 plane is operated from Islamabad to Gilgit.

Thank you for everyone's input. If anyone has any updated info since Dec last year we'd love to hear it as we're in Kashgar now and will head off on the KKH by bicycle in a few days. We understand the border opened earlier than usual this year.
