Hi , I would like to visit skardu for family vacation , I am from lahore , I was wondering what would be better going by air or traveling by road Secondly I would like to know about availability of tour guides , any tour packages. Thanks

And how much time do you have for the journey?

By road it will take about two days in each direction, if there are no problems along the way. By air, there is the risk of flight cancellations if the weather is bad.

Every third or fourth person is tour guide in Skardu as well as in Hunza so plenty of them,no worries.
